Maybe they are listening. . . .

Kids say funny things at the oddest moments. Today before the kids went to bed we walked down to our neighbor's and fellow ward member's house. You see this brother just had foot surgery and is going to be laid up for a few weeks, so the kids and I took him some cookies and pictures they had drawn. Later this evening when the kids were brushing their teeth, little Claire very seriously asked " When is Joseph Smith's leg going to get fixed". It was so cute that she associated this brothers leg injury with the story of Joseph Smith and his leg infection. It made me realize that our kids do listen to the things we teach them even they act like they are not.
