Day 3: Sunday, is always a hard day when you are traveling, the kids are in an unfamiliar ward so you are not quite sure how they will behave. Sunday morning we woke up got ready for church and then headed over to Granny's for some good ol' southern cooking. Before lunch we took a leisurely stroll down to the bay. On the way home the boys were getting tired of walking so Dave ran to get the car to pick us up. Good thing too because it soon started pouring down rain. We got back had a lovely lunch of fried chicken. Watched a video. Right before church Noah got a piece of cat hair on him and started wheezing. We went to the car and got the inhaler and we were okay. (reason #1 why can not get a cat (ahhh mom)). Went to church with granny, the minute the opening hymn started playing all 3 boys were asleep. Claire was another story but it wasn't so bad. The rest of church went fine. . . the kids were good in primary and Claire stayed in nursery so Dave and I were able to enjoy priesthood and relief society.
After church we took a few pictures and then headed up the road a few hours to Dave's other grandparents house. The kids ran straight for their loft and loved playing with the huge bear known as "Big George". We ate Grits and eggs for dinner ( a southern favorite). Than it was baths and bed.
Dave and the kids in front of the old church building that Dave's dad went to when he was a kid. It is now a different church and people were looking at us funny while we took the pic.
a cute picture of the boys
Day 4:
Woke up and grandpa made us breakfast of pancakes and bacon. Then the boys went fishing off grandma and grandpa's dock. Ian and Ammon both caught a fish ( with a little help). We saw a huge alligator off in the distance, this made Ammon a little wary of going outside again. Than Dave took Noah and Ian out for a spin in the canoe. Everyone was happy. We then packed up an headed for Disney. First stop Epcot.
checking out the water.

Canoeing
We had a great time at Epcot. The weather was comfortable and the crowd level was low. Making for and enjoyable afternoon. The kids enjoyed riding space ship earth a ride that takes you through the centuries of time. Then we did a few more rides including a boat ride about the development of the land, and a ride under the sea with Nemo. Then we went to see a cute interactive show called "Turtle talk with Crush" and then played in the jumping fountains. Then we headed over to the world showcase to visit all the different countries. It was really fascinating. They have people that are actually from the country working at that country so for example in France the people were from France. We spent the first part of our tour of the countries frantically trying to get stamps in the kids' passports, but when we realized that they really didn't care too much about it and we weren't having much fun doing it, we stopped that and just enjoyed the sights. We ate dinner in Morocco which was yummy. And then Dave took Noah and Ian to go ride Spaceship earth again and I took Ammon and Claire on a boat ride through Mexico, this turned out to be rather enjoyable, especially when I asked a lady how long the wait was. She said "less than 7 min." And than she asked Ammon what his name was and if we wanted to be the V.I.P. and go to the front of the line. An enjoyable experience. Afterwards we staked out a spot for the Firework show and had a great time watching the great fireworks. That is everyone but Ammon who is apparently afraid of fireworks. By the time we got back to our hotel and checked in it was late, and the kids went right to sleep.
Waiting in line.
