Our next big milestone is that it was Ruby's Blessing Day. She wore the christening dress that has been in my family for over 50 years. It was my Mom's when she was a baby and since then I have worn it, along with my 4 sisters, and then my 3 neices have worn it as well as Claire and Ruby. I am sure many other baby girls will get a chance to wear it also. Ruby used a lovely white blanket that has been in Dave's family for many years also. To complete her outfit she wore a beautiful pair of knitted white booties given to her by Susan Hatch, our Bishop's lovely wife, they were perfect. Many of my family memebers were able to be there as well as Dave's mom and dad. We were happy that so many could be with us for her special day.
Last but not least Claire is a Sunbeam, Sunday was her first official day in her sunbeam class at church. She was so excited and looked so cute sitting with he class of all boys. I have no doubt that she can hold her own.
Here are some pictures of our special day.

Yeah-picturs of Ruby!! She looks so cute in her dress-and I love her little booties. That is cool that so many girls have worn that dress. Abigail wore my blessing dress-but Ella was too big to wear it. So...we will see if baby girl #3 will fit in it. Noah is 9!! Wow I remember when he was born and going to classes with you. Time has flown by. All the pictures looked good-you look good too! Thanks for sharing:)
Congrats, sounds like you've had some great stuff going on.
Gorgeous dress. Wow. And I cannot believe that Noah is so old. It is much easier to picture him little like he was in Chicago. And you look fabulous my dear :)
What a delightful day!!! You must be doing something right!!!
i thought that christening gown had to have been vintage. They just don't make them like this often these days. I love ours and I am glad to be the keeper of the flame...but sweat it out big time when I have to mail it off to someone to use and pray it gets back to us safely. 112 years for us. But Ruby looked so delicate in the gown. And so pretty!
Happy Days! Beautiful memories! Great pictures!
